Sultan Abdul Halim Airport
is Alor Setar airport, but is located in Kepala Batas, 15 kilometers away. This airport not only works in Kedah (and Alor Setar) but also the state of Perlis. which, due to the small geographical size of the country, does not have an airport.
Built in 1929, this airport is the second oldest airport in Peninsular Malaysia. Taiping Airport began to be built. The training department of the Royal Malaysian Air Force is also located at the airport and also uses the same runway as the airport, like other aircraft.
